Escada
Since it's founding by her and her husband, Wolfgang in 1976 until her death in 1992, Margarethe Ley was Escada's chief designer. She strongly believed and adhered to the philosophy that a designer must not solely rely on creativity to succeed. She believed that a designer must also have strong market appeal. Ley created the identity for Escada – clean, slick and sophisticated. Escada's classic fragrances are expressions of perpetual elegance. They are based on the same values that have ruled the Escada fashion empire for over 20 years. Individual and modern fragrance concepts are added every year, as fragrance interpretations of Escada's spring fashion collections. These scents include well-being fragrances to enhance your mood, displayed in dressed-up couture bottles. For more information on Escada visit www.escada.com
